on the ceiling or floor yet is strong, safe and secure.
The removable poles require only a secure, flat ceiling between 6.5' and 11' high.

Important Note about Installing an X-pole:

In the US, do NOT install your pole between the ceiling joists
as described on the instructional DVD and written instructions provided with your X-pole!
Ceiling joists in the US are further apart than they are in the UK where this pole is
produced and your pole will not fit across two joists.

Placing it between the joists will not be secure and can cause damage to your ceiling or risk injury!
Installing your pole centered under one joist will provide ample support and strength for your pole.

Additionally, please note that the DVD that comes with Xpole may not work on all DVD Players
as it is in PALS format (European) though it will work on most computer DVDs, it is not guaranteed to work
in the US. Your Xpole will come with an instructional brochure on assembly.

X-Pole Release Tools

Because dance pole tubes heat up when they are used, especially during extended practice or lessons, the screw joints expand and can then lock together or be difficult to release. This new tool allows significantly greater pressure to be exerted on the tube releasing them immediately.

Easy to use, the release tools C cup fitting simply goes round the pole and is held securely in place by a steel pin which goes through the pole tube. With its extended handle length increased pressure can be applied to the tube releasing it without damage.

The release tools, which at $26.92 per pair are superb value for money, are a must have for solo teachers putting up and removing dance poles on their own as well as dance schools who have to continually put up and take down multiple poles.
